Many of us have found access to telemedicine a vital connection to health care providers during the COVID-19 pandemic and would like to have the option of utilizing it after the threat of COVID-19 is gone. Telehealth (includes telemedicine and telemental health) has long been an important to providing access to rural and underserved communities. Currently, access to telehealth is time-limited and therefore could disappear after the COVID-19 public health emergency… unless action is taken by our lawmakers.
