SAA has partnered with support group leader Gail Wright to create a very special fundraiser! If you know of a patient who needs some “superhero” energy as they face surgery, infusion, or any other challenge, they may just benefit from a handmade Superhero Buddy. When you support SAA by donating to send a handmade Superhero Buddy, SAA will also include a pain journal to help document the patient’s medical journey.
Gail has graciously donated the one-of-a-kind dolls to SAA to help raise funds for our national support group program. All dolls are crocheted by hand and when they are gone…they are gone. The Superhero Buddy that will be shipped to the patient will be similar to one pictured.
Due to the handmade nature of this project, it isn’t possible to request a certain Superhero Buddy.
