July is Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Month

SpA doesn’t affect just one joint or one part of the body
—and its impact extends beyond physical symptoms.

Spondyloarthritis can show up in many ways and affect many aspects of life. This October, we’re connecting the dots—from spine health and movement to psoriasis, pediatric disease, mental health, and health literacy—to help more people recognize SpA, understand their health, and find the support they need.

October – Spine Health Awareness Month

Throughout October, Spine Health Awareness highlights the importance of educating the public on back wellness, managing spinal disorders, and staying active.

October – National Physical Therapy Month

For SpA patients, physical therapy offers several benefits such as reducing pain, improving spinal mobility, and preventing severe stiffness or fusion. Throughout the month, we highlight physical therapy’s impact on movement, mobility, and maintaining function with SpA.

October – Health Literacy Month

Navigating care with a chronic illness can often feel like a maze. Throughout October, we highlight the importance of making health information clear, accessible, and understandable so you can make informed decisions about your health.

Living with SpA means living with a lifelong disease. Chronic pain and fatigue can affect your emotional well-being. Make mental health part of your overall SpA care.

Raise awareness of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs). A timely diagnosis and treatment plan can lead to better health outcomes.
