On April 28, 2018 the Spondylitis Association of America hosted a free Spondylitis Educational Seminar in Denver, CO. The seminar was supported by donations to the SAA and by educational grants by AbbVie and Novartis.

Dr. Liron Caplan, MD, PhD, is the Director of the Spondyloarthritis program at the University of Colorado, section chief for rheumatology at the and a staff physician at the University of Colorado Hospital. His work involves clinically-oriented epidemiologic and health service research in the fields of pharmacoepidemiology and auto-immunity/rheumatology, retrospective analysis of databases, and construction/maintenance of patient registries.
