Exercise is an important component in an effective management plan for spondyloarthritis. Yoga, which combines stretching exercises with meditation and deep breathing, has shown strong benefits for both physical and mental health. Yoga can help ease pain, maintain flexibility and mobility, and lower stress.  

In celebration of International Day of Yoga, SAA has partnered with SpondyStrong, Yoga for AS, and Samata International Yoga to help you get started on your yoga journey.

Yoga & AS

When the core is working properly, posture is also improved, and back, shoulder, and neck pain may be reduced.
