SAA Facebook Live: COVID-19 Vaccines & Spondyloarthritis Update
Share:
Thursday, March 4th, 3 PM – 4 PM Pacific Broadcast Live on Facebook
With vaccinations against COVID-19 underway, we continue to field questions from the spondyloarthritis (SpA) community about how the vaccines interact with SpA and the medications used to treat it. Have the vaccines on the market proven safe for those with SpA? What are the latest recommendations? What do those living with SpA need to know as vaccines become more available and new vaccines head toward approval?
The Spondylitis Association of America invites you to join us for part two of our Facebook Live conversation, “COVID-19 Vaccines & Spondyloarthritis: The Latest Updates,” on Thursday, March 4th, from 3 PM – 4 PM Pacific Time. Tune in live as rheumatologist James Rosenbaum, MD, and virologist / infectious disease specialist Bill Messer, MD, PhD, discuss the most recent information available for those living with SpA. We welcome your questions!
You do not need a Facebook account to watch the live stream, but you do need an account to post comments. The recorded program will be posted to SAA’s website within a few weeks of the live airing.
Dr. James Rosenbaum, Professor of Medicine at the Division of Arthritis & Rheumatic Diseases, as well as Professor of Ophthalmology at OHSU
Dr. Bill Messer, Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Molecular Microbiology & Immunology at the Division of Infectious Diseases at OHSU
