Spondylitis Educational Support Groups can be a valuable part of the support network for people diagnosed with spondyloarthritis in your community. Our volunteer-run support groups, with backing and resources from SAA, provide a forum for those with spondyloarthritis to connect with one another and learn vital information in the effort to live better with spondyloarthritis.

Starting a spondylitis support group can be a fulfilling and rewarding challenge. As the facilitator or leader of the new group, you will be involved in coordinating support group meetings. The role requires you to make arrangements for meeting dates and locations, plan agendas, line up occasional guest speakers, and respond to patient telephone calls and emails.
