Hi! I’m Anatoly Mozgovoy. I am a person with a strong sports and military background. Since childhood, I’ve been passionate about football, basketball, and street workouts. I graduated from a military institute, where I earned the title of Master of Sports in military quadrathlon, mastered hand-to-hand combat, and kettlebell training. During my army service, I rose from platoon commander to deputy company commander, gaining invaluable experience in leadership and working with people. I have certifications in nutrition science, exercise therapy, and counseling psychology.
After leaving active duty, I deepened my theoretical knowledge: I became a Krav Maga instructor (an Israeli self-defense system), a specialist in physical education, exercise therapy (LFK), and nutrition science. My life has always been built on discipline, caring for others, and a drive for self-improvement. I have a deep understanding of the pain and fears faced by those with chronic illnesses. My military background helped me with discipline, goal setting, and execution.
In 2019, I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis (Bekhterev’s disease) — a chronic autoimmune condition. It is hard to be mentally prepared for such a diagnosis. This became a turning point. Instead of giving up, I chose to take control in a few ways. I studied nutrition science and adaptive eating to optimize my diet, retrained as a specialist in exercise therapy and rehabilitation, and built an online community to share my experience of living with the disease. I created a channel to show people that it is possible to live a full life with our disease.
Before the diagnosis, my back and lower back ached. Now I take nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs myself periodically. My family supports and helps me.
I have a lot of friends in my group now. My journey is proof that even with an incurable diagnosis, it’s possible to maintain functionality and quality of life.
Now I am able to support others and give back through shared experiences. I help people with chronic illnesses adapt to new realities — not as a doctor, but as someone who has personally navigated shock, fear, and the search for solutions. Everything I share is tested on myself first.
I provide guidance with tailoring diets to accommodate health limitations, safe workouts (exercise therapy, general physical training) to preserve mobility, and managing psychological resilience (motivation, discipline, overcoming burnout).
Finally, I’m committed to building community. I unite people with similar diagnoses in a Telegram group where we share experiences, support each other, and learn to live fully despite limitations. I’ve also found community on my Instagram page (Anatoly.Mozgovoy).
My philosophy is “Don’t wait for miracles — create them yourself. Discipline, analysis, activity, and belief in your strength can change the game, even in the toughest circumstances.”
